We have programs that can help you with the recruitment process. We match candidates with job opportunities and offer incentives to employers who hire them. We can also help you create jobs for youth, including summer placements. Incentive criteria and funding levels may vary depending on the program.
Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is a government program that helps employers invest in their workforce. It provides direct financial support to companies that want to provide training to their employees to improve their skills. Small, medium, and large businesses planning to offer short-term training to new or current employees are eligible for the COJG.
Please contact us for more information or help with the application. You can access the COJG application form on the Employment Ontario website.
Interested in taking on an apprentice? Employment Options Emploi can help you navigate through this process.
An apprenticeship program combines on-the-job and in-school training for employment in a skilled trade. The goal of apprenticeship training is to enable workers to obtain the workplace and classroom training they require to successfully become certified in their chosen trade.
An apprenticeship is a pathway to a rewarding career in the trades. As an apprentice, you will take classes and learn your trade by working under the guidance of experienced workers – and get paid while you do it.
