Cultural Resource Developer

DUTIES

• Seek community input into the development of community cultural resources
• Develop cultural resources as identified for learning environments 
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Assist in the development of a community cultural strategy
• Plan and develop community resources identified through the above (books,video,social media etc.
• Liaison with community organizations and collaborate for cultural inclusion in community resources 
• Other duties as requested and relevant to this job description

QUALIFICATIONS

• A combination of work experience and education will be considered 
• Must be able to speak/understand the Anishinabe language or willing to learn
• Be familiar with the following software Adobe illustrator Canva Microsoft office
• Familiarity with the history,culture and language of the Three Fires Confederacy and the community of Wikwemikong
• Experience coordinating and conducting community workshops
• Must be able to work independently and be a team player 
• Possess a valid drivers license and have access to a vehicle
