About Us:
A10 Fabrication is a growing metal fabrication shop specializing in manufacturing and custom steel components for construction, mining and forestry. We take pride in our craftsmanship, quality, and safety. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to apply protective and decorative coatings to our fabricated metal products.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare fabricated metal parts for painting by cleaning, grinding, sanding, and masking as needed.
Apply primers and industrial coatings using spray guns or other methods.
Ensure paint thickness and finish quality meet customer and shop specifications.
Mix and match paint colors, hardeners, and thinners according to product requirements.
Inspect finished work for runs, thin spots, or defects and correct as needed.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, or material handling equipment to move parts
Maintain painting equipment and a clean, organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE and proper ventilation.
Qualifications:
2+ years of industrial painting experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of surface prep, paint mixing, and industrial coatings (e.g., epoxy, urethane).
Ability to read and interpret job travelers, paint specs, and blueprints.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
