Senior Florist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. As a Senior Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, managing inventory, and leading a team of florists to ensure the highest quality of service in our retail environment. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a love for all things floral.

Responsibilities

Design and create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, events, and everyday sales.
Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Train and mentor junior florists in floral design techniques and customer interaction.
Oversee daily operations within the shop, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Handle retail sales transactions efficiently including cashiering duties.
Promote e-commerce initiatives by assisting with online orders and managing social media marketing efforts.
Collaborate with the team to develop new sales strategies and enhance product offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a florist or in a similar role within the retail or floral industry.
Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance is beneficial but not required.
Experience in retail sales and e-commerce platforms is preferred.
A passion for gardening and flowers with an eye for design aesthetics.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
