Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer experiences, managing transactions efficiently, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for mature, reliable adults who are available to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
Process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the cleanliness of the checkout area
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization
Assist in training new team members on POS systems and customer service protocols
Skills
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
Ability to perform retail sales, upselling, and merchandising tasks effectively
Experience with technology sales or product demonstrations is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
