Support Staff

We are a daycare based in Elliot Lake that offers employees full-time, part-time, casual and seasonal work.  Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, no weekends.

CDCC is open to children from newborn age to 12 years old. We offer before and after school programs, socializing programs and more.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who establishes a positive, responsive adult-child relationship, using an inclusive approach and building relationships with children. You will get involved with children to support their development, challenge their thinking and extend their learning.

You must be able to provide inclusive environments and experiences that encourage exploration, play and inquiry, as well as engaging as a co-learner with the children, families/caregivers and others.

Our candidate is able to participate in ongoing reflective practices and collaborative inquiry with others.

Must be willing to further their career to become a Registered Early Childhood Educator by either being enrolled or willing to enroll in college.

MUST have experience with children aged newborn to 12 years old or as a PSW (Personal Support worker)

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development

·         Passion for lifelong learning

·         Legislated requirements including Vulnerable Sector check

·         Must be 18 years of age

·         Must have 1st Aid/CPR

·         Must have Doctor note stating you are fit to work
