DUTIES:

To pursue and establish integrated community-based supports, partnerships and connections based on the goals and aspirations of people you are supporting. You will be responsive by providing opportunities that include but are not limited to cultural, social, spiritual, leisure and recreational. Responsible for implementing, developing, maintaining, and monitoring people’s outcomes. You are required to maintain accurate and up to date information in AIMS, and other various reporting procedures as directed by Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma in Human Services with a minimum of two years direct experience in a community-based setting, or the equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, Association philosophy, policies and procedures, positive approaches.
Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid Standard First Aid Certificate (St. John Ambulance, Canada or Canadian Red Cross).
Valid G Driver’s License and maintenance of an acceptable driving record is required.
Vehicle Required
A valid First Aid & CPR Level C certificate is required.
French is not required but would be considered an asset.

 

Rate of pay and hours of work:

$27.37/hour
Up to 24 Hours per Week
Required to work Day and Afternoon Shifts
Expected to Work on Weekdays, Weekends and Statutory Holidays
