House Keeper

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of our facilities, ensuring that every guest experiences a welcoming and pristine environment. Essential job functions include:
Perform daily and weekly cleaning as per job routines and schedules; including entrances, guest rooms, halls, lobby, and public bathrooms.
“Turnover” guest rooms as they are vacated; cleaning, changing linens (towels and sheets).
Ensure all carpets, laminate and tiles are clean, clear of stains and debris. Use marked safety equipment if floors are wet.
Replenish paper products and hand soap in the building when required.
Operate vacuum, floor scrubber and carpet cleaner when and where required.
Pick up garbage and dispose in proper area.
Ensure housekeeping room, closets, equipment and carts are clean and stored in their proper designated area.
Comply with the obligations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Infection Control Protocols, and all other applicable legislation and regulations.

Requirements
• Proven experience in cleaning roles, particularly in hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
