Elliot Lake Dental Centre
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and preventive care.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system.
Assist in the management of patient records and scheduling appointments.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatrics when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental assisting and medical terminology being advantageous.
Proficiency in using Curve or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse patient populations is essential.
Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics will be considered an asset.
