· Incorporate Indigenous culture in healing activities.
· Work with a team in designing a treatment program for children, youth, adults and families.
· Work with clients to assist in after care planning and needs.
· Work with intake to ensure programs fulfilled.
· Work with clients in program to assist with the healing of trauma and overall wellness.
· Attend debriefings to review program design, delivery and facilitation.
· Work in a team environment and independently.
· Completing/filing Serious Occurrence’s when deemed necessary.
· When required, prepare stats for funders.
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary graduate of Social Service/BSW or related social work field.
· Be aware of current social issues as they affect Indigenous people in regard to trauma and addictions.
· Have a working knowledge of Traditional ceremonies and practices as they pertain to group work and healing approached.
· Be a role model in the community.
· Have or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, NVCI or other required trainings.
· Must be willing to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Salary & Benefits:
· Base Salary: $48,000 – $52,000 per year
· Additional 4% vacation pay on top of base salary (increases with years of service)
· 3-Weeks Paid Sick and 3-Weeks Paid Vacation Time (accrued)
