Dietary Aides
The successful candidates will be
responsible for preparing and portioning
foods, serving patients, and residents,
cleaning equipment, dishes, and work
areas.
This will be accomplished through active
employee involvement, continuous
training, and development, as well as a
commitment to compliance with policies,
procedures, and standards.
This position has no guarantee of hours
and will be scheduled in accordance with
the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess
the following:
• Successful completion of Food Service
Worker Program
• Successful completion of Food
Handlers training Program
• Knowledge of therapeutics diets
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of food cookery and
standards of sanitation.
• Capable of safely lifting 50 pounds and
standing several hours
• Ability to provide regular attendance
• Bilingualism in French and English is
an asset
• Must be able to work all shifts.
Benefits:
• $27.50/per hour
• 14% paid in lieu of benefits
• 4% paid in lieu of vacation
• $2.26/per hour shift premium for
evenings and $2.77/hour for
weekends
• Eligible to participate in Hospitals of
Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
