Position Start Date: August 15, 2026
Position Summary: The Community, Cultural and Artistic Liaison will work collaboratively with local cultural organizations, artists, and artisans to develop, coordinate, and promote arts and cultural programming within the community.
The successful candidate will assist in designing and delivering a variety of creative programs, including painting, pottery, woodworking, glass art, sculpture, and creative writing. They will also help create promotional materials and educational resources in both digital and print formats to encourage public participation and engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with artists, artisans, and cultural organizations to develop arts and cultural programs.
Coordinate and support workshops, events, and community-based cultural initiatives.
Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, seniors’ groups, libraries, schools, and other local stakeholders.
Develop inclusive programming that meets the interests and needs of diverse members of the community.
Create promotional content and informational materials in both digital and print formats.
Assist with photographing, digitizing, organizing, and cataloguing the community’s existing art collection for public access and viewing.
Support the promotion of arts and culture through community outreach and engagement activities.
