Full job description
Job Description: We are seeking motivated and hardworking Labourers to support our operations at our stone quarry. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the extraction and processing of stone materials.
Operate hand tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload materials from trucks and machinery.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a labour-related position, preferably in a quarry or construction environment is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of safety practices in a quarry or construction setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
