Handyman Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Handyman Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair tasks across various properties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage a team of handymen to ensure timely and high-quality work. This role requires expertise in general repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of handymen.
Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure maintenance and repair requests are completed efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs.
Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work as necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Train and mentor team members to improve skills and work quality.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, materials used, and job completion.
Communicate with property managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules and progress.
Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or related field.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of general repairs, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina to perform hands-on work when needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related role.
Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Work Environment:

This position requires both office work and fieldwork.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
 Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on the job requirements
 May require working in various weather conditions and environments.
Compensation:

Salary based on experience
Must be able to work 
Tuesday – Friday 9am -5pm
Saturday 9am-3pm
