Loader Operator

Overview:

Greenway Landscaping is looking for an experienced Loader Operator to join our team for the winter season. This on-call, seasonal position is crucial for maintaining clear and safe spaces during snow events. For the right candidate, this role could transition into a full-time permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to remove snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas.
• Safely load, move, and distribute snow, sand, or salt as required.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient snow removal services.
• Be available for on-call shifts during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment.

• Strong knowledge of equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to report to job sites promptly.
• Flexibility to work variable hours based on weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

• Starting at $30+/hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for overtime during peak snow events.
• Potential for Full-time Permanent
