Gas Station Attendant

H & M Mini Mart is looking for a reliable, friendly and customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist customers with fuel & propane purchases, operate a cash register, maintain store cleanliness and help provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced convenience store environment. This position is approximately 20-30 hours per week. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle cash, debit and credit transactions accurately
• Restock shelves, coolers and merchandise displays
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, fuel pumps and surrounding areas
• Assist customers with questions and general inquiries
• Help receive and organize deliveries as needed
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Previous retail, cashier or gas station experience is an asset
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and holidays
