DUTIES
The Parts Associate is a customer facing role which is responsible for overseeing the stocked inventory at Harbor Vue Marina. This role involves working with a dynamic team to ensure exceptional service and fostering strong customer relationships. As an ideal candidate, you have experience in the marine industry with a solid grasp of inventory best practices and procedures backed up by several years of customer service. You have excellent organizational and computer skills and are committed to working as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Parts control, ordering, stocking etc.
Parts room oversight
Answering the telephone
Data input
Retail customer service and sales
Work order creation
Maintaining positive working relationships with clients and coworkers
Ensuring equipment is maintained and returned
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience as a parts advisor is preferred but not required.
Computer literacy is a must. Experience working with CRMs, Microsoft based software etc.
Demonstrated extensive knowledge of different types of boats and their mechanics.
Ability to read and understand technical / schematic diagrams considered and asset.
Strong attention to detail.
Highly responsive and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
