DUTIES
Yard crew duties consist of safely operating yard equipment to launch / recover and store customer boats ranging from 14’-50’. Other duties include but are not limited to site and property maintenance and repair, light grounds keeping and assisting with the spring launch and winterizations processes.
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Launching / recovering moving boats using a variety of equipment.
Correct blocking and cradling of boats in storage and yard
Boat stacking
Proper maintenance records of all yard and related equipment
Pick up and delivery of boats as required
Organizing, maintaining and clean up of yard and associated buildings
Keeping proper record to time and work orders
Maintaining excellent customer service relationships while effectively addressing and resolving customer concerns in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience on heavy equipment an asset but not required.
Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the marine industry
Hold a valid boat operator’s license.
Demonstrated knowledge of different types of boats and their mechanics.
Familiarity with boat winterization techniques and storage requirements is essential.
Highly responsive and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
Adapt to varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
