DUTIES
The Marine Technician/Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing the service operations at Harbour Vue Marina, including storage, and repairs. This role involves leading our dedicated team to ensure exceptional service and fostering strong customer relationships.
FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the marine service facility, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor storage for over 350 vessels, a 55-slip harbor and mechanical and fiberglass repairs.
Leading a team of approximately six (6) employees including marine technicians, fiberglass repair, yard workers, and parts and service workers
Maintaining excellent customer service relationships while effectively addressing and resolving customer concerns in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
Hold a valid boat operator’s license, required.
Proven work experience as a marine technician.
Demonstrated extensive knowledge of different types of boats and their mechanics.
Familiarity with boat winterization techniques and storage requirements is essential.
Highly responsive and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
Adapt to varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
