Primary Duties:
• Review picking slips and coordinate picking sequence
• Pick and pack products based on picking slips
• Ensure picking timelines are met with a performance rate of < 70 units/hour
• Review all picked orders, ensure quality and accuracy with a picking error rate > 0.01%
• Report order issues in writing (shorts list) to Sales Rep and Director of Sales
• Wrap / secure skids; add customer identification tag to skid and load on trucks
• Set aside all product quality issues on quality control skid in proper temperature
• Exercise duties while adhering to food safety and occupational health & safety guidelines
Secondary Duties:
• Ensure cleanliness of warehouse
• Assist with receiving as required, completing necessary documentation
• Exercise duties while adhering to food safety and occupational health & safety guidelines
• All distressed products are to be recorded in a timely manner on the daily worksheet
• Other duties as assigned
Equipment Requirements:
• Power stackers
• Power and manual jacks and trollies
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Lifting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, and climbing on ladders or mobile stairs
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (i.e., warehouse, coolers and freezers, etc.)
