Reporting to the Vice-President, our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales/Business Development Specialist to join their team. This role entails developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between their leadership and their clients, providing comprehensive product information about their various services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
Regularly travel to engage with existing clients and prospect new ones, fostering strong business relationships.
Collaborate with the leadership team to maximize sales profitability and growth.
Effectively sell their services while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Articulate the benefits on their various offerings to potential customers, addressing queries and providing accurate information.
Identify potential customers through diligent research.
Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Participate in industry events and tradeshows.
Stay up to date with industry trends.
Other duties may be assigned by your supervisor.
 
 Experience – Skills / Expérience – compétences

Must have a proven track record in sales and an understanding of sales techniques and processes.
Understanding of the industrial sector with a primary focus on Northern Ontario Mining, including market trends and competitors.
Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and expectations of our customers.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
Strong organizational skills.
Results-driven.
Proficient in conflict management and problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Fluent in various Microsoft Suites
Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
