Part-Time Cleaner/Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a valid Driver’s Licence (G preferred) and an updated Permanent Resident card. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and presentable. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, with a focus on efficiency and quality. The Cleaner will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues.
Assist in moving furniture or equipment as needed for thorough cleaning.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Shift and Schedule:

Weekends as needed
Evening shift
Monday to Friday

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management.
• A valid driving license is required for the transportation of cleaning supplies, equipment, and team members.
• Must be able to lift and move items as needed during the cleaning process.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
