Killarney Mountain Lodge

·        Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required

·        Responsible for checking guests in and out of the resort

·        Issue room keys, pamphlets, meal tickets, etc.

·        Take reservations via phone and email

·        Compute bills, collects payment, and makes changes for guests

·        Conduct property tours as required

·        Assist guests with luggage, show guests to their rooms

·        Arrange for amenities to be sent to rooms upon request

·        Runs various reports on the computer for management

·        Count and verify cash floats, shift activity, keys, and gift certificates at beginning and end of shift

·        Complete shift audits as required

·        Check all unresolved departures

·        Review service requests for arrivals

·        Ensure front desk is stocked with any item’s guests may require before housekeeping leaves for the day

·        Clean and tidy front desk area

·        Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties

·        Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization

·        Take and record telephone, e-mail, or written message for staff members

·        Observe and report any security issues to the General Manager

·        All other duties as assigned

·       Previous experience in a guest services or customer service role is an asset.

·       Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.

·       Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Proficient in using reservation and property management systems 

·       A positive, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for providing excellent service and exceeding guest expectations.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

·       Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with other departments.

·       Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Guest Services Agent plays a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience by providing exceptional service both on our reservation lines and at the front desk. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating lasting impressions with your warm, professional demeanor and commitment to customer satisfaction. Your role will directly contribute to the seamless operations of the guest services team, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and positive experience during their stay.

 

Provide exceptional customer service to guests over the phone, email, and in-person, ensuring that each interaction is positive and memorable.
Manage guest reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling reservations, while maintaining accurate records in the reservation system.
Welcome guests upon arrival, check them in efficiently, and provide them with relevant information about the property, amenities, and available services.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring all issues are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction.
Assist with guest check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process and addressing any final questions or concerns.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure that all guest needs are met promptly and accurately.
Maintain knowledge of property policies, local attractions, events, and promotions to provide guests with relevant and helpful information.
