Killarney Mountain Lodge

·        Follow all opening and closing procedures with care and precision as required

·        Maintain full awareness of the restaurant entrance while engaging guests in a friendly manner

·        Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems

·        Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation, seat them accordingly, and present menu’s

·        Communicate with Servers, Bartenders, Supervisors, and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant and maximize seating capacity

·        Accurately take reservations and modify guest status

·        Ensure that the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris

·        Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section

·        Fill out detailed special request forms for birthdays, anniversaries, NBs, etc. and ensure that all co-workers are informed

·        Assist servers by running food, clearing plates, and refilling water as required

·        Polish and restock utensils and glassware, fold napkins

·        Reset tables

·        Maintain the cleanliness of the washrooms by completing checks regularly throughout shift

·        All other duties as assigned

·        Provide outstanding customer service in an efficient and professional manner

·        Maintain clean and organized working environment

·        Must be able to communicate effectively in English with excellent written and verbal skills.  Upbeat personality and positive interpersonal skills required. Smart Serve Certified.  Must be able to be on your feet for hours at a time and be able to lift 30lbs. Must possess acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
