About the Opportunity
We are looking to hire Millwrights to join our team at Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON., on a
full-time basis.
The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hr shifts rotating days and nights.
In this position, you will safely and efficiently perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual
preventative maintenance and repairs for hoisting plant, loading pockets, fuel distribution
systems, rock breakers, mine water systems, pump stations and water treatment plant;
troubleshoot and perform hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repairs to machinery; some shop
fabrication work and other duties as assigned.
Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based
position.
More About You
While our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who
may not meet every criterion to apply.
• Licensed as an Industrial Millwright or registered apprentice
• Previous hoisting experience is an asset
• Must be comfortable working at heights, around mine shaft or elevated platforms
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is an asset
• Ability to reach schematic drawings
• Rigging and welding experience
• Practice good housekeeping and have a commitment to safety
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
