Food Services Aide – Casual

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Food Services Aide is responsible for preparing and serving all three meals to inpatients during shift, stocking vending machines, and keeping the department clean, safe and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure)

Required:

Partial secondary school (Grade 10)
Food Handling certificate
Computer experience

Preferred:

Previous experience in a food services environment

COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL: 

Knowledge of department policies and procedures
Knowledge of Meditech to print patient diet sheets
Proficiency in computer software applications; Microsoft Outlook, Learning Management System (LMS) Policy & Procedures

STARTING WAGE:  $25.20-26.90/hour (based on experience)
