Reporting to the Facilities and Recreation Manager, this position carries out assigned cleaning duties for facilities owned or operated by the Municipality of French River.
Qualifications for the position include:
· Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade XII) education or equivalent.
· A valid Class G license driver’s license is required.
· Proven dependability to be able to work without direct supervision.
· Must be willing to attend training courses as required.
· Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
· Maintenance and cleaning of public facilities such as offices and washrooms.
· Work as a labourer person.
· Work with small equipment in the Parks and Recreation department as needed.
· Must be available to work outside of traditional business hours, including mandatory evening and weekend shifts.
· Assist with the coordination and set-up of special events and functions.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Municipality’s policies and procedures along with a good understanding of the Health and Safety Act.
Salary Range as per Collective Agreement: $22.13 – $24.94 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week
