EO-NO-160 General Labourer-5-16 week positions and a 3-8 week positions

The Municipality of French River is currently seeking applicants to fill the following summer positions for the Public Works, Environmental and Parks & Recreation Facilities Departments: Eligibility criteria of the program: 

•        Must be between the ages of 15 and 30.

General Labourer Positions -5-16 Week Positions

General Labourer Positions -3-8 Week Positions

Duties Include:
(5-16 weeks)- General Laborer Positions: Departments include Public Works, Environmental and Parks & Recreation Facilities. These are 16 Week Positions starting: May 4th, 2026, until August 22nd, 2026

Duties Include:

•Carryout assigned duties for the day-to-day operations of the Public Works, Environmental and Parks and Recreation Departments.

•  Provide general maintenance support and assistance in the care of roadways, municipal green spaces, and recreation

facilities.

•  Assist in the daily waste management operations.

•  Increase and promote recycling and waste diversion.

•  Assist with other duties as assigned and as it pertains to the position.

(3-8 weeks) General Laborer Position: 8 Week Position starting: June 30th, 2026, until August 23rd, 2026

Duties Include:

•  Carry out assigned duties for the day-to-day operations of the Parks and Recreation Department.

•  Provide general maintenance support and assistance in the care of recreation and facilities.

•  Assist with other duties as assigned and as it pertains to the position.

Location: Noelville, Ontario
