Lead Educator Level 1 (Little Current)– One (1) Vacancy

Position Status: Permanent Full-Time
Hours of Work: 35 Hours per Week (days, evenings, and weekends as per organizational requirements)
Starting Salary: $29.50 per hour ($25.50 +$2.00 WEG + $2.00 Lead Incentive)
Location: Little Current – 18 Draper Street, Little Current, ON P0P 1K0

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lead Educator Level 1 plays a key role in guiding curriculum implementation, supporting team development and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children and families and upholds the mission and values of OCOF/Nena.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
1. Education & Certificates
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with current good standing registration in the College of Early Childhood Educators;
• Current Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (within 6 months)
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

2. Experience
• Minimum 6 months experience working in a childcare facility.

3. Skills
• Early Childhood Education & Curriculum Planning – Strong knowledge of CCEYA and How Does Learn
