Warren – Child Care Supervisor, Level 1

The Child Care Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, administration, and quality of an assigned child care site. Reporting to the Director, Child Care Services & Pedagogy, the Supervisor provides leadership to educators and support staff while ensuring high-quality, inclusive, and compliant early learning and child care programs. The Supervisor plays a key role in supporting employee success, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring high-quality experiences for children and families. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of a licensed child care site, including staff supervision, scheduling, regulatory compliance, programming, administrative responsibilities, and family/community relationships. The ideal candidate will have a recognized ECE diploma, be registered and in good standing with the CECE, have at least three years of licensed child care experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required, with proficiency in both English and French considered an asset. The role also requires regular travel, flexibility, and the ability to support the physical and operational demands of a fast-paced child care environment.
