Warehouse Clerk (Manitou Operator)

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Clerk (Manitou Operator) to join our Timmins Operations team in Timmins, ON., on a full-time basis.  The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions within the warehouse and participate in inventory control activities including receiving, storing and issuing mine material and supplies in accordance with Company expectations. You will be required to pick internal orders and prepare them for on-site movement, operate the warehouse manitou and forklift, as well as maintain the housekeeping within the warehouse. While this role is mainly based at the Bell Creek Mine, occasionally you may be required to work from the Timmins West Mine warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Warehouse Clerk (Manitou Operator) will have the following responsibilities:

Manitou Operation: Safely operate the Warehouse Manitou to load and unload trucks, store stock in designated locations, and deliver goods to various departments as needed.
Shipment Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and inspecting for damage.
Inventory Organization: Ensure products are properly stored and organized in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Shipping Preparation: Prepare and label outgoing shipments, ensuring the correct products and quantities are dispatched on schedule.
Data Entry Support: Assist with data entry for receiving and issuing when required.
Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe warehouse environment and participate in regular safety training and inspections.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area.
Any other duties as assigned.

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset
Good oral and written communication skills (Radio use)
Good computer skills
Knowledge of inventory management, mine materials, equipment and maintenance parts is an asset
Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the site as public transportation is not available.
Be committed to safety
