Purvis Fisheries is looking to hire Crew Members and Plant Workers for the 2025 Season

Positions Available:

Boat Crew – Work on the water and be part of our fishing operations.

Plant Workers – Help process and prepare our fresh catch.

Boat Crew

As part of the Boat Crew, you will work directly on the water, assisting in the daily fishing operations. Responsibilities include:

• setting and retrieving fishing nets
• sorting and handling the fresh catch
• maintaining and cleaning equipment
• working as a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• following all safety procedures on the boat

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and can handle physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Plant Workers

Our Plant Workers help process and prepare the fresh fish for sale and distribution. Responsibilities include:

• operating and monitoring filleting machines
• sorting and packing fish for shipment
• maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the facility
• assisting with general plant operations

No prior experience is needed – just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
