The primary duties and responsibilities of the front desk assistant will include:

•  Providing a warm and friendly welcome to guests upon their arrival and assisting them with the check-in and check-out processes.

•  Managing room reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems, ensuring accuracy in room assignments and rates.

•  Addressing guest inquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring a positive guest experience.

•  Handling incoming calls.

•  Processing guest payments and managing the cash drawer, including handling credit card transactions and providing receipts.

•  Keeping accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest details.

•  Communicating with the housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any issues are promptly resolved.

•  Keeping the front desk area and lobby clean and organized.
