Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, manage sales transactions efficiently, and assist customers with product inquiries and demos. Bilingual skills and experience in technology sales or merchandising are a plus. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a dynamic retail environment while ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
Assist customers with product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise, especially technology products
Upsell relevant products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
Manage inventory levels on the sales floor and restock as needed
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication
Process returns, exchanges, and refunds following store policies
Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
Technical sales experience or familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
Bilingual abilities (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is a plus
Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and basic math proficiency are essential for success in this role
This position requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
