Your Role
SALES CLERK
- Preparing sales orders, deliveries and special orders for clients and contractors
- Greeting customers in a polite and professional manner
- Assisting in opening and closing procedures
- Assisting in weekly orders with several suppliers
- Inventory maintenance
- Assist with keeping the store organized and clean
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Retail experience: Not necessary, willing to train
- Time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual individuals will be considered an asset
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and make suggestions
- A meticulous work ethic an an ability to attend to detail
- A positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to stay focused on goals and objectives
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Customer service oriented
- Experience/knowledge in hardware/construction is an asset
