Required Qualifications:
· Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Ability/Skills/Knowledge:
· Knowledge of, and willingness to support SJGHEL’s Mission, Vision & Values of Compassion, Humility &

· Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate medication provision for
patients.
· Perform clerical duties, including preparing and reconciling third-party billings, chemotherapy billing, invoices,
memos, and maintaining drug information files.
· Manage drug distribution systems by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper inventory
control, including narcotics and controlled substances.
· Ensure medication safety through tasks such as stock rotation, expiry date monitoring, and destruction of
expired or unused medications.
· Participate in continuing professional development, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives
within the pharmacy department.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to interact with team members and clients in a positive manner
· Ability to work under minimal supervision and manager high volume workload
Assets:
· Bilingual
· Excellent attendance record (records will be reviewed)
· Experience in Meditech software applications
· Practical pharmacy experience (hospital setting preferred)
