Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Store Clerk to join our team at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and inventory management, contributing directly to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
Assists in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory physical counts
Enter MM data into the dictionary module; place inventory and special orders; maintain the status of associated purchase orders, and review and correct variances in the “exception report”
Assists in the resolution of any problems that may interrupt routine activities
Answers phone, provides general department information and responds to “STAT” requests as required
Receives Stock/Special Orders and distributes Hospital purchases
Faxes’ confirming P.O. to supplier and distributes remaining copies of P.O. to proper files
Updates data in computer from information on P.O.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Secondary School Diploma
Previous Experience in Shipping and Receiving as well as Procurement
Assets
Bilingual
Experience in Meditech software application(s)
Post-secondary education in medical and/or business courses
Excellent attendance record (records will be reviewed)
