Responsibilities
Assist roofers in setting up work sites and disposing of waste materials.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure productivity in the installation of various roofing systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, particularly regarding Health and Safety.
Manage job direction and ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to budget and material requirements.
Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Perform labour duties on Vale sites, including roof maintenance and cleanup.
Remove ice and debris from roofs and other surfaces.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be willing to complete Vale Safety Training and obtain Working at Heights Certification.
Must be willing to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be able to arrive at the designated pick-up site by 7:00 AM.
Work shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
