Responsibilities:
• Assist roofers in setting up work sites and disposing of garbage.
• Work as part of a team to ensure productivity in the installation of various roofing systems.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, particularly regarding Health and Safety.
• Manage the direction and timely completion of jobs while adhering to budget and material requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections.
• Maintain the job site properly.
• Work on the Vale site as a labourer.
• Remove ice and debris from roofs and other surfaces.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Must be willing to complete Vale safety training and Working at Heights certification.
• Must be willing to wear proper PPE as required by the site.
• Must be able to arrive at the pick-up site by 7 AM. Shifts are from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday.
