We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to assist with housekeeping and occasional kitchen duties this season. The position will start in early May and end in mid- October.
We run a fishing and family resort with 14 fully equipped cottages and a private restaurant, located on Wolseley Bay in French River. We need part-time help with housekeeping and kitchen related tasks. We are offering an opportunity to achieve wage increases, learn new skills, and grow with our company. Training will be provided for all tasks.
Housekeeping responsibilities will include:
– Removing used linen and making beds
– Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
– Washing windows and dusting furniture
– Vacuuming and mopping floors
– Restocking cleaning products
Kitchen responsibilities will include:
– Greeting guests in a friendly manner
– Assist with light meal prep
– Assist with serving meals
– Washing dishes
– Cleaning tables and floors
Requirements:
– Transportation
– Ability to work weekends
– Flexibility to help with housekeeping and kitchen
– Experience working in customer service
– Food handler’s Certificate is an asset but not required
Starting wages will be 18.50 per hour, plus tips. The job type is part-time and seasonal. Hours will average between 24 and 32 weekly.
