Assistant Manager
We are looking for a reliable, organized and customer focused Assistant Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting daily operations and helping both customers and team members have a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Store Manager with daily operations and team supervision
- Assist customers with product information and general inquiries
- Help maintain inventory levels and data entry
- Merchandising, shipping and receiving, fleet logistics
- Support staff scheduling, training and performance guidance
- Handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully
- Monitor sales floor activity and help achieve store goals
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Leadership of supervisory experience considered an asset
- Experience in building materials, hardware, construction or home improvement preferred
- Strong communication or organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Basic computer skills and an ability to learn POS systems
- Reliable, detail-oriented and solution focused
