Assistant Manager

We are looking for a reliable, organized and customer focused Assistant Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting daily operations and helping both customers and team members have a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Store Manager with daily operations and team supervision
  • Assist customers with product information and general inquiries
  • Help maintain inventory levels and data entry
  • Merchandising, shipping and receiving, fleet logistics 
  • Support staff scheduling, training and performance guidance
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully
  • Monitor sales floor activity and help achieve store goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience required
  • Leadership of supervisory experience considered an asset
  • Experience in building materials, hardware, construction or home improvement preferred
  • Strong communication or organizational skills 
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and an ability to learn POS systems
  • Reliable, detail-oriented and solution focused
