Yard Worker and Driver

We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking and safety focused Yard Worker and Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload building materials safely and efficiently
• Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery
• Assist customers in the yard in a friendly and professional manner
• Deliver materials to customer locations when required
• Keep the yard clean, organized and safe
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks
• Follow company safety procedures and policies at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario drivers license with clean driving record 
• Experience driving delivery trucks is an asset
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Team player with good communication skills
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
• Experience in building materials, construction or lumber yards is an advantage but not required
