Responsibilities: ● Use different tools to achieve student success such as interactive games, activities, whiteboards, and role playing ● Identify necessary technical corrections in areas such as grammar, sentence structure, and accurate word usage ● Tutor students in English, French and Math ● Provide structured lesson plans based on student needs and goals ● Research interesting topics for daily lessons then use Microsoft PowerPoint to create lesson for the virtual class ● Provide resources and examples to help guide students through their work in various fields of study ● Plan and conduct conversational English and French lessons on the MetaVerse while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment ● Provide one on one sessions of communicative language ● Guide students with mathematical concepts ● Develop and prepare daily lesson plans that include interaction for students Skills: ● Fluent or intermediate in French and English both verbal and written ● Excellent communication, listening and explanation skills ● Excellent organizational and time management skills ● Ability to prioritize workload effectively ● Reliability, patience and motivation ● IT knowledge with the ability to make effective use of the Internet as an educational resource ● Positive and outgoing personality Qualifications: ● Fluent or intermediate skills in French and English both verbal and written ● Degree or diploma in a relevant field (preferred) ● 2+ years of experience in tutor or leadership role ● Past experience working with youths or students
