Licensed Plumber-Full-time
Job Description Description du poste:
- Monday to Friday regular shifts with some overtime and weekends
- On-call approximately 8 weeks per year
- Candidates that are looking for a part-time position are also encouraged to apply
- Your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Working on various residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and occasional mining sites
- Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures, pumps, valves, water meters and other plumbing equipment/systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal
- Assist with cost estimates
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
- Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Work in confined spaces
- Signing Bonus: Starting at $1,000 – According to experience

Qualifications:
Looking for a mechanically inclined plumber to support small and large residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects
- Must be experienced, licensed and highly motivated
- Physically fit and must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Must provide clean CPIC (criminal record check)
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual – an asset
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Represent the company in a professional manner
