· Remuneration varies depending on the number of children in care:

· From $140 to $840+ a week plus, $10 or $20 Wage Enhancement per day.

· The small provider/child ratio offered in a Home-Based Child Care Program is to ensure the children are safe and to enable the child to receive individual attention as needed.

· Offers a licensed child care service in West Nipissing or Sudbury-East, in English or in French.

· Required to have a Criminal Reference check and vulnerable sector screening for each adult in the home; as well as a First aid CPR for the Provider.

· Allow Home Visitor to inspect the premises and maintain records in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act.2014(CCEYA) and Ontario Regulation 137/15

· Meet children’s health and safety needs.

· Organize indoor and outdoor activities that allow children to learn about their surroundings and the world around them.

· Offer on-going professional learning development opportunities on child development, programming, health & safety, Quality Assurance, How Does Learning Happen?…

· Prepare healthy nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

· Maintain good communication with the children, the parents and the Home Visitor.

· Provide a place for children to interact and learn with others of varied ages in a smaller family setting.

· Create experiences in which everyone can grow together.

· Provide unique opportunities for children to grow, develop, receive individualized attention, and learn their responsibilities and their interests.
