Widgawa Lodge is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individuals or a couple to join our team as a Lodge and Outfitter Team Members. Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services & Reservations:

Warmly welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Cross-reference reservations and confirm details for stays and equipment rentals.
Process payments, including additional purchases or rental upgrades.
Maintaining a positive attitude towards guests, other team members and the daily duties and responsibilities.
Equipment Management:

Provide recommendations on equipment and guided routes.
Demonstrate safe and proper use of all canoe rental equipment.
Inspect equipment before and after guest use to ensure safety and quality.
Problem-Solving & Flexibility:

Address guest concerns promptly and adapt plans as needed.
Stay resourceful and flexible when schedules, weather, or guest needs change.
Guest Support & Safety:

Offer guidance on outdoor safety practices and route planning.
Assist guests with overnight stays and logistical needs.
Prioritize safety and ensure all guests have a positive experience.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with other staff to manage schedules and guest needs.
Communicate clearly in verbal, written, and reading contexts.
Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas to enhance guest experiences.
Organization & Creativity:

Maintain organized records of reservations, equipment inventory, and guest interactions.
Offer creative solutions to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Technical Outdoor Skills:

Confidently use and demonstrate outdoor technical skills to assist guests.
Stay informed about local terrain, weather patterns, and safety protocols.
Additional Duties:

Assist with general lodge upkeep and maintenance, lawn care and special projects.
Assist with daily cleaning of cabins including linens, toilets, surfaces and floors.
Assist with daily camp laundry as needed.
Handle customer needs related to outdoor travel and lodging.
Shuttle guests by boat or by car to specific launching points for their trips.
Hours may fluctuate on a daily basis

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Creativity and innovation in guest services and problem resolution.
Proficiency in outdoor technical skills, including equipment use and safety.
Customer service experience in outdoor or hospitality settings (preferred).
Must have drivers licence and boating licence.
Work Environment:

This position offers a dynamic, outdoor-focused environment where flexibility, resilience, and a passion for nature are essential. Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional service to a diverse range of guests. This position requires you to live at our location.

Pay: $3,250.00-$3,600.00 per month
