As a Community Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting community development by organizing resources, building partnerships, and leading impactful programs and events, such as educational workshops and community initiatives. This position emphasizes fostering engagement, collaboration, and inclusivity to create meaningful opportunities for community members while ensuring a supportive and empowering environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Facilitating Community Programs:
Organize and lead diverse community programs, including educational workshops, outreach activities, and summer camp events, conducted in-person or virtually.

Community Outreach:
Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and libraries to expand the reach and impact of programs.
Actively engage with community members to promote awareness of available resources and encourage participation.

Cross-Functional Support:
Collaborate on various community-driven projects, including curriculum design, event planning, and volunteer coordination, to strengthen the organization’s initiatives.

Team Coordination:
Work collaboratively with team members to plan and execute community events, sharing responsibilities and ensuring smooth operations.
Present outcomes and deliverables to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability.

Digital Tools Utilization:
Use digital platforms like Slack for effective communication and Canva for content creation to document progress and share updates with the team.
Maintain organized records and promote streamlined processes for ongoing projects.

Social Media Engagement:
Leverage platforms such as Instagram to connect with the community, promote events, and enhance program visibility.

Content Creation and Promotion:
Develop promotional materials using tools like Google Workspace and Canva to effectively communicate program details and encourage participation.
