Under the direction of the Administrator, the Registered Dietitian assumes the authority and responsibility of the nutritional care for residents in the Long-Term care facility and takes on the role to monitor, oversee day-to-day clinical nutrition of residents and monitoring a high level of nutrition care and well- being of residents. The Registered Dietitian ensures that the nutrition and hydration programs comply with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021, amongst others.
· Must be registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
· Three (3) years previous professional experience in Long-Term Care is an asset
· Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in gerontology
· Must be bilingual
