East Algoma Est Community Futures Development Corporation
The East Algoma Community Futures Development Corporation has an opening for a Loans Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, this self-motivated individual will be responsible for building and maintaining a commercial loan portfolio, making recommendations regarding financial assistance for prospective business ventures and marketing the services of the East Algoma CFDC in the community. The position will also provide local entrepreneurs with business counselling and technical support services.
Qualifications:
§ Superior interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills for dealing with business clients and the general public
§ Experience in the assessment of start-up and management of small/medium size businesses
§ Post-secondary education in business / accounting an asset
§ Knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis skills
§ Demonstrated ability in assessing business plans
§ Experience in investment and asset portfolio management
§ Experience in designing and implementing marketing campaigns/strategies
§ Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset
§ Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within catchment area
