Job ID# EO077 Saw / Edger Operator Sturgeon Falls

· Full-time,  8.5 hour shifts Monday to Friday

· Benefits: Extended Health insurance, Pension matching up to 2%, 2 weeks Paid off time

· Experience in Commercial Sawmill of 1 year (Required)

Duties:

· Operate saws to cut lumber

· Set up and adjust machinery for accurate cuts

·  Maintain a clean and organized work area

·  Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all time

Experience and Skills:

· Must have verifiable sawing or edging experience which includes operating a band saw and/or circular saw/edger

· Previous experience as a Sawyer or similar role preferred

· Proficient in using sawing or edging machinery

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements

·  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Must be able to work a repetitive job

· Must be physically fit

· Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
